I don't know about you but I have had a crazy week. I just feel like no matter what I just can't find time to get everything done. I have been meaning to head to Target for weeks now and every week I just barely make it to Publix for my once a week trip.

I am in love with this week's Publix ad and I had a great shopping trip today. I had a $5/$50 Target catalina that was set to expire so I was able to use that and a $5/$30 Winn Dixie coupon to bring my totals down even lower.

I stayed right around my $50 a week preferred spending which is perfect since we are hopefully buying our new fancy camera during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales next week. We have met our savings goal for the camera thanks to our surplus grocery cash, gift card deals, some tutoring and some small income from this blog but it will be nice to have a little extra cash on hand while we shop to put towards a memory card, etc.  Read more about our cash grocery budget HERE.

We aren't hosting Thanksgiving this year but we are bringing the mashed potatoes, carrots and stuffing to my mom's so I will be making a small trip later next week to pick up some fresh items since there are so many great produce deals.
#couponerproblems
As you can see from the freezer pictures we are completely over stocked on frozen veggies, frozen breads, and frozen meat so we will be trying to clean those out over the next few weeks so I won't be buying too many fresh items until we can eat through some of our stash : )

I did buy a 20! pound turkey for our Christmas party later this year because I just couldn't pass up 20 pounds of meat for $12. Much of what I have bought the last few weeks and will buy in the upcoming weeks will all be used for our Christmas party and for bring dishes to holiday events with family and friends. Love being able to get what I need while it's on sale!

I also found tons of the Winter Family Savings booklets and since a friend had also grabbed me some from her store I will be having a little giveaway of them tomorrow morning for those of you who can't find them in your store : )
