Yesterday's shopping trip is the kind of trip that makes people think that couponers don't have a well rounded diet. If you didn't know me and know that I have a freezer full of meat or pantry/fridge full of stockpile items and fresh items you would probably judge me hard core for my shopping list yesterday.
Since we still had lots of yogurt and milk from our weekend trip, I just grab some salad to get us through until our produce pick on on Tuesday as well as a few fresh things for dinner tonight and for lunches next week. I was thrilled to grab moneymaking gum and free tablecloths (can you tell I am planning on using them for our Christmas party?). I was also very glad to see a great deal on Extra Virgin Olive Oil since we used our last drop over the weekend.
I used one $5/$30 Winn Dixie coupon and since Sunday's trip was actually using last week's grocery money I stayed way under budget this week which means I will have cash on hand to pay for Tuesday's organic produce share.
