My last Publix shopping trip of 2011 was an amazing one. I had a decent amount of high value coupons that all expired on 12/31 so I decided to take advantage of some of those and get a few things. There were also some good deals combining coupons from the Publix savings booklets with some manufacturer and Target coupons that I had so I was able to get trash bags, toilet paper, Clorox wipes and some more Solo cups for the stockpile too. Thanks to some great sales on chicken, eggs, milk and frozen veggies in the last few weeks we didn't need any real fresh items so I was able to spend more of my weekly grocery budget (I like to be under $50 for the week) on other items.
Since this will be my first January couponing, I am really excited to take advantage of the beginning of the year sales and coupons on fresh and healthy products. I am also excited for coupon inserts to reappear in our papers this Sunday.
