Spent $49, Saved $112 for everything in both photos

I felt like I had an amazing week at Publix. I didn't save an outrageous amount but I was so happy with what I was able to get for under $50 after sales, coupons, and a $10 gift card from a previous blog promotion. When I look at what I was able to get (so much, I needed two pictures) it just reinforces my love of couponing. I think of how I use to go to the store, spend $50 and come out with two or three bags and not that many items.

I was able to stock up on milk, cheese, soup, grits, laundry detergent, some fresh produce, a 5 pound Boston Pork Butt and so much more. The great thing is that we will use many of the staple pantry and fridge items for meals over the next few weeks so I can be flexible with our meal plan.

Justin went with me on today's trip so we were able to split up the trip into two transactions which let us use two $5/$50 Winn Dixie coupons. I also found an in store display with tons of the Make Your Home Italian Tonight coupons that we saw in the 9/16 Smart Source as well as Stocking Spree coupon sheets.

I also ran to Publix this past Saturday to grab some things I needed to make my French Onion Fondue appetizer for a dinner party we went to. While I was there I got a few other things to make it to $30 so I could use a $5/$30 coupon. I ended up only saving 46% but since I needed some pricey, non-couponed items it's not too bad. I ended up spending $21, $9 of which was Gruyere cheese : )

Saturday's Trip: Spent $21.51 and saved $18.60

• 2 boxes of Quaker Instant Grits, retails for $2.79 each, on sale BOGO ($1.40 each)
• Used a $1/2 coupon from the Oct. issue of All You Magazine
• Made them .90 cents a box
•  2 bags of Publix shredded cheese, retails for $3.79 each, on sale for $2.50
• Used a $1 off a pound of any kind of cheese coupon (only in FL) from coupons.com (try a FL zip)
• Stacked with a $1/2 Target Market Pantry coupon
• Made them $1.50 a bag
•  1 dozen Publix eggs, $2.19
• 5 pound Boston Pork Butt, retails for $14.23, on sale for $9.47
• 4 cans of Campbell's 100% Natural Soups, retails for $2.55 each, on sale BOGO ($1.27 each)

• Since I only had two Publix coupons I also used two $1 off Target coupons (four total store/competitor coupons since I got four products)
• Made them $1.00 per bottle
•  2 bottles of Greased Lightening Cleaner, retails for $3.39 each, on sale for $1.69 each
• Used two $1.25 off peelies on product
• Made them .44 cents each
•  1 three pound bag of Red Potatoes, retails for $4.09, on sale for $2.99
