Spent $19.25 for $61.32 Worth of Stuff |
Today I finally got to check out our new "Fresh Grocery" Target. I love that it now has a much better selection of grocery items so that I can take advantage of all the coupon/sale deals on products my store use to not offer. I am finally getting back into the swing of Target couponing and today's trip made me very happy. I was able to get 3 toys/games for free to give to the Homeless Family Center so that made it even sweeter.
I was able to find everything I was looking for and had absolutely no problems with coupons at check out, a rare event at my Target. They were handing out a great store coupon booklet at the front and I was even able to pick up some extras because some people left them on the floor and on shelves. I guess they don't like coupons : )
For some reason my Target's registers are no longer adjusting down coupons to the sale value so I even had some moneymakers on this trip (another rare event). And to top it all off, the register printed a $5/$50 worth of groceries Catalina which my Publix will accept in case I don't ever buy $50 worth of grocery items at Target.
Here is the breakdown of today's trip:
