Sunday's Target Trip: Saved 58%

I hit up the new sale cycle at Target this Sunday and I was able to get some great deals. My Target was still out of the Aquafresh toothpaste deal and completely cleaned out of the OneTouch mini meters that I was hoping to grab as a donation item, but everything else was well stocked.

I had planned on picking up some free travel sized Degree deodorants and some free travel sized sunscreens but my printer decided it didn't like the Target website on Sunday morning so I went ahead and hit the store without those new coupons. I have since printed them and will hopefully get to snag those deals on my next trip.

I also grabbed a cute shirt on clearance that was marked down from $20 to $10 which I was able to get for $7 after a $3 off coupon. I didn't include it in this post since that comes out of my personal "weekly spending allowance" and not our grocery/household items budget.

I spent about $20 after earning a $5 gift card which isn't too bad considering all I got. I didn't see too much in the new Publix grocery ad that thrilled me so I am not really worried about staying under budget this week.

Breakdown of Sunday's Target Trip:
Total retail value: $51.60
Total spent: $21.30 (after $5 gift card)
Total saved: $30.30
Percent saved: 59%
